 March 18, 2006, marked the long-awaited release of Xalieri's first full-length novel, Sweat, published by Die Monster Die! Books of Baltimore. Sweat is available from Shocklines and (soon) other places....
Sweat has been described as "Southern Gothic on crack" and "well and truly f****ed up!", and since that last was delivered with a smile, we have to assume that's a good thing. Discarded blurbs in praise of the author of this novel include "He is possessed with a prose style that is obviously the mutant offspring of Chuck Palahniuk having his manly way with the corpse of Tennessee Wiliams or Ring Lardner. Possibly both." |
